Judge Orders Arrest Of Convicted Teen A judge ordered the arrest of a young man convicted as a teenager in the so-called Pharmacy Case, but who had cooperated with prosecutors for the conviction of two others. The Oklahoma County judge ordered the arrest of Jevontai Ingram, 18, after the convicted man failed to appear at a court hearing to assess his progress on probation. Prosecutors said Thursday they will ask the judge to send Mr. Ingram to prison. ‘Broadening Scope’
Another radio station has been purchased by Perry Publishing & Broadcasting, it was announced earlier this week. The purchase of KKRX-FM (93.7) of Lawton by the communications firm (which also owns The Black Chronicle) now has in its portfolio 21 FM and AM radio stations that broadcast throughout Oklahoma, as well as in Georgia and South Carolina, according to Russell M. Sheriff Sued By Hospital The sheriff of Oklahoma County has been sued by a hospital, which believe a jail practice leaves the hospital stuck with huge medical bills. The lawsuit was filed in county court against Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel by the University of Oklahoma Medical Center. |

Simpson Seeks New Trial
The shackles and blue prison garb seemed to weigh down O.J. Simpson as he returned to a Las Vegas courtroom on Monday to ask for a new trial in the armed robbery-kidnapping case that sent him to prison in 2008.
